The wave of violence against Awami League leaders and activists continues across the country under the watch of Yunus’s mob forces
In the latest incident, Muslim Uddin, Joint Secretary of Ward No. 4 Muradpur Union Jubo League in Sitakunda, Chattogram, was hacked to death by assailants linked to the Yunus-led forces. The attack took place around 6 PM on Thursday, April 10, in the Beribadh area of the union.
Muslim Uddin was the son of Abu Taher, President of the Muradpur Ward Awami League, and worked as a supervisor at a nearby under-construction factory.
According to local sources, Muslim was near the factory when 10-12 assailants armed with locally made weapons launched a sudden and brutal attack. He was repeatedly hacked and left severely injured. Locals and family members rushed him to Chattogram Medical College Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
This is yet another horrifying chapter in the targeted campaign of violence against Awami League members under the current regime.
