On August 5, BNP-Jamaat-backed attackers stormed the house of Golam Kibria Selim, Joint General Secretary of the Natore Workers’ League,Natore District.
His mother, sister, and sister-in-law were physically assaulted, household items were looted, and the house was set on fire.
When neighbors tried to put out the fire, the attackers brandished firearms to threaten and block them.
This heinous act is not just an attack on a family, but a blow to political tolerance and human decency in Bangladesh.
We strongly condemn the incident and demand the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the perpetrators.
